On 31 of August 2019 Head at Department for language training, Institute for continuous training of prosecutors, National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine Olha Nitenko, senior lecturer of the same department Olha Shum with trainees of the Institute for special training of the Academy Olena Bohach and Svitlana Shashchenko were presented on Open House of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine.
On the event, which was called the German Garden and this year was held for the sixth time in Kyiv, were presented all areas of German activity in Ukraine. The event was inaugurated by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany to Ukraine Mrs. Anka Feldguzen, who thanked the participants for their expressed interest in the history, culture and activities of the country it represents in Ukraine.
As part of the Open House Day, the Hans Seidel Foundation initiated the art exhibition “We are Ukraine, Pain and Hope”, dedicated to Ukraine today. Visitors had the opportunity to talk with representatives of German intermediary organizations (Goethe Institut in Ukraine, German Academic Exchange Service DAAD, German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce, Society for International Cooperation GIZ and German Development Bank KfW, German School and German Kindergarten) German political foundations.
