The delegation of scientists from the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine headed by the first vice-rector on education-methodological and scientific work Minchenko Sergii participated in the meeting of the group concerning issues on improving the safety of journalists and combating impunity for crimes against journalists

 

On May 10, 2019 in the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine was held the meeting of the coordinating interdepartmental working group comprising representatives from the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine, the National School of Judges of Ukraine and National Academy of Internal Affairs. The meeting of the group was devoted to the to the creation of an inter-sectoral training course on investigating proceedings in the field of obstruction of the legitimate professional activities of journalists.

 

 

The National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine at the event was represented by the first vice-rector on education-methodological and scientific work Minchenko Sergii, the head of the for research on the issues of functional activities of the Prosecutor’s Office Scientific-Research Institute Oleksandr Gladun, head at department of prosecutorial issues  research in the field of International law and implementation of the European Court of Human Rights practice, Scientific-Research Institute Veronika Plotnikova, chief scientific officer at department of prosecutorial issues  research in the field of International law and implementation of the European Court of Human Rights practice, Scientific-Research Institute Lotiuk Dmytro.
