May, 20, 2019 Rector of the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine Mykhailo Loshytskyi took part in the Final Conference within the European Union Advisory Mission projects ”PPO institutional reform” and “Increasing PPO capacities in the field of international legal cooperation”. First of all, Rector of the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine Mykhailo Loshytskyi thanked his European colleagues for the Conference organization, during which the participants have a real chance to discuss the key issues that arise in the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine.
During the report Mykhailo Loshytskyi emphasized that in reality, the man’s fate who appealed to the competent authorities with a statement about the crime, expecting the state to protect their rights, and in the majority – their restoration. In particular, the Rector noted that “in the activities of the prosecutor’s office there are usually problematic issues, which have to be resolved urgently at this moment and at this time, because they are the man’s fate”.
Mykhailo Loshytskyi have also noticed that «the problematic issues of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine work are constantly being solved, in particular, under the patronage of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, a plan of measures for the introduction of electronic criminal proceedings has been developed, and the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine is also involved to this work”.
The meeting was organized on the initiative of European colleagues in order to develop mechanisms for international legal cooperation in the direction of reforming the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine.
