Concluding a memorandum of cooperation with the National School of Judges of Ukraine

August 22, 2017 a memorandum on cooperation between the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine and the National School of Judges of Ukraine was solemnly concluded.

 

 

The main provisions of the memorandum are: to unite efforts in order to develop professional training, legal education and science, to start the bilateral cooperation in the field of improving the efficiency and quality of educational and methodical activities of the parties.

 

The National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine was represented by the rector Ivan Prysiazhniuk, pro-rector Yurii Sevruk, head of the department of initial and continuous training of prosecutors Vira Schuliakova, head of the Office of the Rectorate Iryna Kycherina, head of the department of initial and continuous training of civil servants of public prosecution service of Ukraine Nataliia Naulik and research officer of international relations department Ihor Klevtsov.

 

National School of Judges of Ukraine was represented by the rector Mykola Onischuk, pro-rector of scientific-research work, PhD (in Law), professor Nataliia Shuklina, pro-rector of organizational activities Volodymyr Mazurok and pro-rector of training for the judiciary bodies Anatolii Kostenko.

 

 

The ceremonial event was opened by the rector of the National School of Judges of Ukraine and the rector of the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine with greetings. The parties expressed the words of gratitude and assurances for further fruitful cooperation in the professional sphere.

 

In addition, the rector of the Academy Ivan Prysiazhniuk presented to the library of the School of Judges of Ukraine a collection of scientific  publications of the National Prosecution Academy of Ukraine that were printed last year.

 

In order to implement the terms of the Memorandum the parties agreed on the organization of a number of scientific and practical activities, involving representatives of both institutions to publishing activity, including participating in the preparation and publishing of textbooks, manuals, guidelines and generalizations of practice for the educational process of professional training of staff for the prosecutor’s offices and courts.
